We do all the work in crafting Trade Eights Cocktails, so all you have to do is enjoy a great-tasting drink.  Just shake—because we use real juices—and pour over ice.

But, suppose it’s a special night.  What’s considered “special” is totally up to you, of course.  For instance, you survived Monday (like you do every Monday), but that’s still a cause for celebration.  Or maybe you’ve got guests coming, and you need something to serve them. Or, you’re in your underwear binge-watching your favorite show (btw there’s a Finnish word for drinking in your underwear: Kalsarikännit

Whatever the reason for your special night, how do you dress up your Trade Eights Cocktails for the occasion? Here are some very easy ideas.

  1. Add garnish.  Lemons and limes are easiest.  Bonus points if you have grapefruit to go with your Grapefruit Honey +Vodka. We also love adding an extra squeeze of citrus to our cocktails.  You can take it up a level and add fresh herbs, too - like mint or rosemary.

  2. Add sparkling wine.  We prefer a brut (or dry) champagne that will add a nice fizz to your cocktail for a fuller body, but won’t disturb the overall balance of ingredients.

  3. Add sparkling water.  This creates a gently fizzy mouth feel, but without upping the alcohol.

  4. Serve in a beautiful glass.  Mason jars are fun or any type of glass vessel can be repurposed as your “special night” cocktail glass.  We’re not a stickler for rules. Champagne flutes, coupe glasses, Old-fashioned tumblers - any of these glasses work.  Lots of cocktails have rules for what type of glass you drink them in. We say choose whatever glassware fits your mood.

With Trade Eights Cocktails, there’s nothing to mix, measure or mess up.  The beauty of enjoying a bottled cocktail at home is that you can drink it or serve it however you please!
